Qaisar joined nogaholding in September 2012 and is responsible for the origination and execution of new direct investments and maximising shareholder value from the group’s existing portfolio. nogaholding is the investment and business development arm of National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and manages the government of Bahrain’s shareholdings in oil, gas and petrochemical assets. Qaisar co-founded the infrastructure investments business at Arcapita Ltd where he led and completed investments of more than $5 billion. Qaisar was executive director, head of infrastructure investments for Europe at Arcapita. Qaisar has also worked with JP Morgan Chase & Co in various roles in London and Bahrain, as well as at Global Aerospace in corporate client management. His last position was vice president at Global Aerospace in London where he managed client relationships across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this position, he led the largest US EximBank guaranteed financing of $2.4 billion, as well as Saudia Airline’s first ever ECA borrowing, to finance the acquisition of 30 Boeing aircraft. During his role as corporate client management team leader for the Middle East, Qaisar led several ground breaking corporate finance transactions for power, petrochemical and other large infrastructure projects across the region. Before that, Qaisar worked with NCR Corporation as a systems engineer. He obtained a master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, USA; an MBA from the Arizona State University in Arizona, USA and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain.
